Mustard yellow, Dark Green and Bright yellow Chettinad Cotton Saree (Handloom)

Description

Mustard yellow saree with green and bright yellow border on both top and bottom sides. The borders are of same size on both sides. Very comfortable and breathable material, and is suitable for wearing all year round.  No specific thread or zari work on the borders, just green, yellow and thin magenta stripes running horizontally all along from right to left. The pallu is simple with magenta stripes running vertically from top to bottom. The saree has a running blouse piece attached. The saree also has intricately woven medium to large peocock motifs evenly distributed all around the saree. Not to forget the super beautiful tassels on either ends of the saree which gives the saree a royal feel. The saree is pure handloom cotton, 80’s count thread material and is 6,20 meters in length.

Wash and Care – Hand wash the cotton saree using mild detergent or give it for dry cleaning.Store the cotton saree in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid hanging them for extended periods. Instead, fold the sarees and place them in a cotton or muslin cloth bag to protect them from dust and pests.
